Lakeland Radio Charity of the Year 2010

Throughout 2010 Your Station Lakeland Radio is supporting Manna House as our Charity of the Year. Manna House is a local charity based in Kendal
which was set up in 2002 to provide housing advice, advocacy and support for those in the South Lakes who are homeless or vulnerably housed. You can find out more about Manna House by visiting their website HERE
Marilyn Irons Rough Sleep
Well done to Marilyn Irons who has completed the Rough Sleep for 2010 along with a group of other local people. The group had to endure temperatures of around -4C at Kendal Castle.

On Wednesday 20th January Jonathan Brook, the director of Manna House and Mark Kelly a client support worker from Manna House came into the Lakeland Radio Studios, Yakkers & Marilyn Irons announced that Manna House would be the Lakeland Radio Charity of the year for 2010.
